CSK will face KKR for their sixth clash of IPL 2025.

Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is currently facing a lot of criticism because of the team's poor performance i the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025. Five-time champions CSK have played five IPL matches so far and they managed to win just one clash.

Uthappa believes that there is no lack of intent from MS Dhoni; he has passed on responsibility to others. He also urged the former CSK captain to bat higher up in the order.

"I don't think there was ever a lack of intent from MS Dhoni. Even outside the IPL, I believe he has passed on responsibility to others and given them a clear understanding of what to expect in the coming years as CSK rebuilds into a championship-contending side. That transition is happening, and while we would love to see MS bat the way he is right now, perhaps a little higher up the order, I don't think the problem lies at the end," Uthappa said on JioHotstar.
